Omeida Restaurant is a fantastic place to practice your Chinese and immerse yourself in Chinese food culture.
OMEIDA RESTAURANT
The Omeida restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday, offering delicious, traditional, family-style Chinese food for dine-in or takeaway.
Meals typically feature flavorful soups or porridge, fragrant steamed rice, savory fried rice or noodles, and a wide selection of meat, vegetable, egg, and tofu dishes. With a different menu every day, you’ll never get bored and will have the chance to try a variety of dishes. Vegetarians, vegans, and those with food allergies or intolerances are welcome, and we cater to your specific needs.
For our all-inclusive students and volunteers, all meals are included. Tuition-only students can savor these meals for just 16 RMB (approximately $2 USD) each. Lunch is served at 12am, while dinner is at 6pm during warmer months and 5:30pm during colder months.

Every day, students have the freedom to choose their own breakfast and all meals on weekends. Omeida is situated conveniently in Yangshuo, there are numerous nearby restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and street-food options available at all times of the day. Just outside Omeida Chinese Academy’s building, you’ll find a wide variety of traditional Chinese food served at very affordable prices.
A 15-minute walk from Omeida Chinese Academy brings you to the famous West Street, which offers a wide variety of international and western-style restaurants, bars, coffee shops (including Starbucks), bubble tea shops, and fast food favorites like McDonald’s, KFC, and Pizza Hut. Whether you’re craving a burger, pizza, pasta, steak, fries, Indian food, or a fresh cup of coffee, you’ll find it on Yangshuo’s West Street.
