All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of China. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Most of the modern-day interactive websites use cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. We reserve the right at any time and in its sole discretion to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our website. By continuing to link to our website, you agree to be bound to and abide by these linking terms and conditions.
Removal of links from our website
If you find any link on our website or any linked website objectionable for any reason, you may contact us about this. We will consider requests to remove links but will have no obligation to do so or to respond directly to you.
Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.
Content Liability
We shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing on your website. You agree to indemnify and defend us against all claims arising out of or based upon your website. No link(s) may appear on any page on your website or within any context containing content or materials that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.
Booking and Payment
To book the course, a 200 USD deposit is requested and not refundable. The full program fee needs to be paid before the start of the program or when the admission procedures are done on the student’s first day at school.
Cancellation and Refund
The deposit will be retained for up to one year if the student could not attend the booked course. The student must inform Omeida in written form about the change at least 2 weeks before the booked course.
The course tuition is not refundable due to students’ personal change after the booked course started. However, students could apply to retain the remaining weeks for up to one year, or upgrade to a more intensive program so all the paid lessons could be completed, or convert the values of remaining lessons to online lessons.
Students will not be refunded and lessons will not be rescheduled due to absences without a legitimate reason.
The paid tuition could not be transferred to another person, and should only be used for lessons, but not other items such as room, food or activities.
Passport, Visa and Insurance
Students should provide valid passport, visa and detailed contact information to Omeida.
Students should apply for a suitable visa to enter China for study. Omeida offers visa assistance if necessary.
All international students must purchase medical/traveling/accidental insurance to cover the study and traveling in China.
For students who will study for 6 months or longer, Omeida provide the service to help buying International Students Insurance specified by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
Student (or guardian of underage students) bears his/her own responsibilities for any medical or health problems, sickness, disease, injury or loss whatsoever suffered by the student if relevant insurance was not purchased as above requested.
Attendance and Request for Leave or Adjustment of Class Level
Students should attend class as per the teaching plan, not late or leaving early.
The request for leave should be applied in written form and get approved by the head teacher before the routine teachers’ meeting on Thursday afternoon. Private class students should give the request at least 48 hours before the scheduled lessons.
Group class students should take holidays in whole weeks but not individual days.
Requests for leave with short notice will be rejected and the missed lessons won’t be rescheduled.
After the teachers’ weekly meetings on Thursdays, teachers will inform the students if there is any adjustment for the following week. If student would like to request any adjustment, please talk with the head teacher before or latest on Thursday mornings, otherwise might wait one more week before the change could be made.
Use of Students’ Photos, Videos and Comments
Omeida reserves the right to use any photos, videos or comments of or made by students during their study attending the Chinese lessons, culture classes or traveling activities, for print, verbal, internet, or other commercial use and shall not be held liable for such use.
Requests to decline such use must be sent in writing to an Omeida director.
Compliance with Laws and Standards of Conduct
All international students should observe and obey the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and respect Chinese social morality and customs. Students should also follow the regulations of Omeida.
Students without a work visa are not allowed to do any work and get payment from any company in China.
Students should respect the teachers and schoolmates, come for class on time, no eating, teasing, or any inappropriate behavior in the classroom.
Students are not allowed to house pets in school’s accommodation, nor bring pets to school.
No drinking, smoking or making loud noises are allowed in school’s accommodation.
Students should return to dormitory room before 12am on weekdays or latest 2am on weekends.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). Nothing in this disclaimer will:
- limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
- limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
- exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.
The limitations and exclusions of liability set out in this Section and elsewhere in this disclaimer: (a) are subject to the preceding paragraph; and (b) govern all liabilities arising under the disclaimer or in relation to the subject matter of this disclaimer, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort (including negligence) and for breach of statutory duty.
