Omeida Cafe

The Omeida Cafe, located in the student lounge, offers a well-priced selection of gourmet coffee, tea, juice, and snacks. As a social hub from morning to night, it’s a friendly place to finish homework, strike up a conversation in Chinese with staff or students, or plan weekend activities with friends. This welcoming cafe is clean and comfortable.

Getting coffee at Omeida's cafe became an integral part of my daily routine. Not only is the coffee delicious; my conversations with cafe manager Zoe - entirely in Chinese - was a fun way to test the progress of my language learning. I went from choppy one-word exchanges at the beginning of the summer to fully formed sentences and rich spontaneous dialogues with her by summer's end.

I was fascinated by the coffee shop. The drinks were tasty and affordable. I really liked the atmosphere and interior design of the place. The staff spoke English well. They were very friendly and pleasant to talk with. This place is indeed perfect to study and chill!
